The Sacramento Kings and Los Angeles Clippers staged one of the craziest NBA games in history, as the guest earned a 175-176 road win after two overtimes.
It is not a mistake. This is the second highest scoring game in NBA history, the second time two teams have exceeded 170 points in a game, and the game with the most 3-pointers (44) in history, matching the previous record.
Domantas Sabonis and his team will be remembered as the winning side of this match, with the Lithuanian center achieving a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds and adding 4 assists.
Coming off the Los Angeles Clippers bench, Nicolas Batum added 19 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists, but missed the three-pointer that would have given his team the victory.
Milwaukee soundly beat the Miami Heat at home, but Giannis Antetokounmpo injured his knee and had to leave the court with 6 minutes into play. He had 4 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists.
The Chicago Bulls destroyed the Brooklyn Nets at home, and Nikola Vucevic helped with a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Playing against his former team, Kristaps Porzingis had 23 points and 6 rebounds in the Wizards’ loss to the New York Knicks. Coming off the bench for Washington, Deni Avdija added 11 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists.
Cedi Osman couldn’t help Cleveland get the road win against Atlanta as his 10 points and 5 rebounds weren’t enough. His compatriot Alperen Sengun struggled offensively (5 points, 2/10 FG) but had 9 rebounds and 8 assists in the Rockets’ loss against Golden State.
A double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds by Rudy Gobert wasn’t enough for the Minnesota Timberwolves, who lost 121-113 to Charlotte at home.
