Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova commented on the words of US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, who said that “instinctively, most Americans do not like to see how a big country bullies another, and they feel that this is wrong, and they want to do something about it.”
Zakharova wrote in her Telegram channel:
“I may be wrong, but until today, this person represented the United States, and not some other country. The secretary of state must know the history of at least his state. Isn’t the US attacking Iraq? Or is Iraq not small enough?
The Russian diplomat added:
“I will refresh the memory of the Americans on their history, since Anthony Blinken does not know it. And I will do it not instinctively, but consciously. The history of the United States, although short, but bloody, has formed the image of a state hostile to the peoples that do not obey its will.
