Sirens sounded in the pan Ukrainetoday, Saturday, prompting the authorities to declare an air alert throughout the country, in anticipation of Russian bombing.
In previous statements, the Ukrainian army said that Russia had doubled the number of warships operating in the Black Sea on Friday, and expected this to be in preparation for more missile strikes.
The Russian Navy frequently launches missiles from its fleet in the Black Sea, as part of Moscow’s effort to target Ukraine’s critical infrastructure and power generation facilities.
