At the beginning of February, the ministers of foreign affairs and health of the member states of the European Union arrived in Lyon for a working meeting. The trips were made with electric vehicles for the good environmental cause, reports the local publication Le Progres, quoted by “24 Chasa”
The French EU presidency requires participants to use only electric cars for the various journeys between the airport and meeting venues, and in France’s second-largest city, around 50 electric cars have been made available for the politicians’ needs.
The organizers realized at the last moment about one main problem – the lack of a sufficient number of charging stations. They got out of the situation by supplying diesel generators with which they charged the batteries of the electric cars.
