Removal of mandatory VRS in KSRTC; A list of 7200 employees has been prepared

Thiruvananthapuram: Mandatory VRS removed in KSRTC. For this, a list of 7200 employees over 50 years of age has been prepared. The management is considering paying a minimum of Rs 15 lakh per person. Other benefits will be provided after retirement age. The management hopes that if the project is implemented, there will be a 50% reduction in the sabala crisis.

1080 crores will be required to implement VRS. The management also decided to hand over the project to the finance department for assistance. The management is of the view that if a number of employees are kept aside by paying VRS, they will not have to approach the finance department for salary distribution.
