Huawei’s rectangular Apple Watch-like watch is getting better. Bigger screen, Bluetooth calls: the Watch Fit 2 offers a lot for half the price of its Californian competitor. At the cost of some limitations, however.
Simple and pleasant to use, the Huawei Watch Fit 2 offers good general performance. Without excelling in one area in particular, it turns out to be homogeneous and even quite capable when it comes to practicing sporting activities – if extreme precision is not expected of it. Too bad its software ecosystem is not more complete.

An alternative
The Watch GT 2 46mm is a frustrating watch. It offers clearly ideal autonomy – about a week without Always-on – ensures good heart rate monitoring in all circumstances and benefits from quality finishes. Unfortunately, despite its strengths, it embeds an operating system that is far from satisfactory. It is therefore less comfortable than some competitors.
