Both “Succession” and the success “The last of us” will cover costs for recordings in Norway.

Armstrong states that he actually decided as far back as Christmas 2021, in consultation with some of the other screenwriters.

– We were then going to start season four, and I told the others that I thought the time had now come. We doodled several different outcomes, he says about the end of the drama series.

“Succession” has won several awards. The Norwegian actor Eili Harboe (28) is among those appearing in the new and final season.

The TV creator says they could have kept it going much longer and “turned the series into something completely different”.

– Or we can be determined and show muscle – and round off strongly. The latter was definitely my vision all along, he says.

Season four premieres on March 27.

Hollywood Reporter writes that HBO will not comment on the news, but that the streaming channel confirms that the content of the article in the New Yorker is correct.

It was last summer that the news came that “Succession” was to be recorded in Norway.

Since then, it has become clear that an entire episode in the new season has been added to North-Westland, and that the TV series was granted a reimbursement limit of NOK 14 million for its recordings here.

The manufacturer originally applied to the Norwegian intensive care scheme for NOK 13 million in support.
