Last year, “Renault” became the leader of the commercial transport market in the Baltic countries for the fifth time, taking the first place in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. A total of 2,258 “Renault” light commercial vehicles are registered, which corresponds to a 23.8% market share.

“Renault Master” has been the leader of commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tons for years. In 2022, 1,587 cars of this model have already been registered. The leader of the minibus segment is “Renault Trafic Passenger”, which accounts for 26% of the share. In the segment of medium vans, “Trafic” ranked first with a 17.8% market share, while in the segment of vans, “Renault Express Van” took fourth place.
In 2022, 4,363 “Renault” light and commercial cars were registered in the Baltic States. This gives “Renault” the fourth place in the market of the Baltic countries with a 6% market share. In 2022, 2105 “Renault” cars were sold. “Renault” ranked in TOP-8 of the best-selling passenger cars in retail (one place higher compared to 2021).
Renault Arkana (458 units) remains the most popular model in the passenger car segment, followed by Captur with 348 units registered (20.1% of sales are hybrid versions). “Clio” is also popular, taking the fourth place in its segment.
By sales volume, “Renault” ranks third in the electric car market in Europe and second in the full hybrid car market in Europe. The results of the Baltic States show that sales of “Renault” electrified cars (HEV, PHEV, BEV) increased by a third last year. The share of “E-Tech” range in the total product range of the brand is 22%.
“Renault” continues to introduce a new brand identity, in addition, modernized versions of “Clio” and “Arkana” will appear at the end of this year.
