Local councilor Alberto-Iosif Caraian, who appeared naked, from under the shower, at the local council meeting in District 1 on Friday, February 24, has resigned, reports the PSD Press Office.
“Following the regrettable incident during today’s meeting, February 24, 2023, of the District 1 Local Council, local councilor Alberto-Iosif Caraian submitted his resignation.
At the same time, because she gave herself improper money from European funds, accused by the National Integrity Agency and investigated by the National Anticorruption Directorate, Clotilde Armand continues to be maintained in all positions by the USR”, stated the PSD in a statement of press.

On Friday, February 24, a new meeting of the Local Council of Sector 1 took place. When the secretary of the meeting started the roll call of the local councilors, the PSD councilor Alberto Iosif Caraian entered the meeting online, having opened the video camera of the device from which he had logged on, even if he was undressed, from the shower.
Both the meeting secretary and several local councilors called Caraian’s attention to turn off his video camera.
For a few minutes, the transmission from the local alderman’s shower was interrupted. He later retweeted images of himself walking around a room after getting out of the shower. After a few minutes dedicated to reorganization, the work of the Local Council meeting resumed.
Later, the social democratic councilor publicly apologized on his personal Facebook page. “Technology still plays tricks. Unfortunately, the rush has had its say! I apologize for the unfortunate incident. The hot water was from the own boiler, so that I could anticipate any questions. Sorry again everyone!”said Alberto Iosif Caraian.
