The president of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) in Gandia, Maribel Codina, will form part of the Gandia PSPV-PSOE candidacy for mayor, specifically number 8 on the list.
Maribel Codina Tomás had a difficult youth, since she was left without parents when she was only 15 years old. Her father died of a heart attack; while her mother passed away from breast cancer. This family situation marked Maribel’s adolescence, and caused her to grow up quickly. From that moment, Maribel feels the need to help those who have gone through or are going through the same thing that she had gone through. For this reason, she joined the Spanish Association Against Cancer as a volunteer, almost a decade ago.
Codina trusts that he can also help the socialist project led by Prieto in Gandia with his work.
