Last September, Kalvijn got down on his knees in front of Nina. The two are now busy planning their dream wedding. Although the location and date are already known, the YouTuber does not want to say anything about this for the time being. “Even my mother doesn’t know yet, so I think I should inform her first. In any case, it will take place in 2024 and will be anything but a stiff party in a church.”
Kalvijn and Nina both come from the countryside and are – in their own words – very ‘Burgundian’ and it is precisely those elements that should be reflected during their wedding day. “A lot of music, good food and a bit of chaos would therefore be nice. I hope a lot of things break. Let it derail.”
According to Kalvijn, the lovebirds have been together for about 11 years because they never limit each other in their lives. “We were 15 when we got together. (…) If one of the two wanted to live abroad for half a year or move to Amsterdam, we just let that happen. Have fun. And if we noticed that we were growing apart as a result, we discussed it.”
With such a good relationship, Kalvijn is sure: “I see her as the mother of my children. I think she will be able to do that very well.” Kalvijn and Nina have two cats and together they like to look after Kalvijn’s one-year-old niece. So if it’s up to him, they can handle a family of their own. “I myself hope for two kids, although one would of course also be great!”
