Murder of a teacher in Saint Jean de Luz: the shock in the face of the unacceptable
Following the assassination of Agnès Lassalle which occurred on Wednesday February 22 in Saint Jean de Luz, the UNSA Education Dijon, for all of its unions, wishes to react officially and offer its condolences to the relatives, the family, the educational community and students.
UNSA Education is in shock after a teacher died stabbed by a student. All our thoughts go out to his loved ones and to the educational community to whom we offer our condolences.
The first known elements of this drama will legitimately refer to questions of mental health treatment, to the insufficient means given to the education systems (doctors, nurses, psychologists, social workers, AESH, etc.) charge of students. But for now, let the investigation be done and respect the victim’s family, his memory with all the necessary reverence. The time for analysis will come later.
