As a large grain province in the country, the total grain output of Jilin Province in 2022 will be 81.616 billion catties, a new record high, and the grain output will exceed 70 billion catties for 10 consecutive years.

In the Dayangzi Agricultural Machinery Professional Cooperative in Zhuchengzi Town, Dehui City, more than 100 sets of agricultural machinery equipment have been renovated. The staff said that the total power of the city’s agricultural machinery reached 1.88 million kilowatts, an increase of 120,000 kilowatts compared with last year. 25,000 sets of operation tools have been invested, ready to enter the working state at any time.
Gongzhuling City has abundant reserves of agricultural materials. The warehouse of Jiahe Family Farm has all kinds of agricultural machinery such as no-tillage seeders, deep plows, and tractors. The seeds and fertilizers needed for nearly 60 hectares of land are basically in place, said Zhang Baoxing, the person in charge of the farm. : “I plan to expand the scale of corn planting this year, so I have to make preparations early.”
Meihekou City is the world’s largest tree nut processing and distribution center. The two factories of Meihekou Guanlin Native Products Co., Ltd. are in full swing. It is reported that there are currently more than 300 pine nut processing enterprises in Meihekou City, and the city’s annual pine nut processing capacity can reach up to 150,000 tons (with shell). The annual processing volume of finished nuts is 50,000 tons, accounting for about 70% of China’s output, and is mainly exported to more than 30 countries and regions including the United States, Britain, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Japan and Southeast Asia.
As a major soybean producing area, farmers in Dunhua are already busy. In the Lianyi Agricultural and Sideline Products Supply and Marketing Professional Cooperative in Yongqing Village, Dashitou Town, the soybean processing workshop is working overtime, and customers from outside the province come to inspect the goods in an endless stream. The cooperative has just completed an order of 1 million jin of soybeans not long ago, and is stepping up production for orders of more than 100,000 jin.
From the fields to the production workshops, the people of Jilin have used their sweat and wisdom this spring to consolidate the foundation of food security in an all-round way, comprehensively promote the construction of a strong agricultural province, and make steady progress towards the “100 billion catties of grain” production capacity construction project.
