Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev defeated Australian Christopher O’Connell in the quarterfinals of the ATP 250 tournament in Doha. The game lasted 1 hour 59 minutes and ended with the score 6:2, 4:6, 7:5.
In the semi-finals, Medvedev will play against the winner of the quarterfinal meeting between Spanish tennis player Alejandro Davidovich-Fokin and Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime.
The tournament in Doha is held on a hard surface and will last until February 25. Its prize pool exceeds $1.3 million. On February 19, Medvedev won the ATP tournament in Rotterdam, beating Italian Yannick Sinner in the final.
