Nothing Releases Android 13 Upgrade for Phone (1) – Tablets and Phones – News

Nothing has released the Android 13 upgrade for its Phone (1). The upgrade is in Nothing OS 1.5, the company says. The upgrade has been in beta for several months and is now rolling out to all users.

Nothing claimt among other things, that apps load up to 50 percent faster after the upgrade. There is also a ‘self repair’ function in the software that clears unused cache and cleans up old dumps from the system. The software also contains many functions that are standard in Android 13, such as the new photo picker.

It’s Nothing’s first time to upgrade its phone. The device came out with Android 12 in the middle of last year. Nothing promised four years of support and three OS updates. This means that the device will be maintained until July 2026. Tweakers published a review of the Phone (1).
