In the press release that accompanied the release of this single, the group speaks of a title that attacks “this taboo word that is suicide”.
“The intention is to communicate around this darkness that we feel inside. It would be ridiculous to believe that we have to deny these thoughts. I believe that one day or another, everyone there is thought. Dealing with it avoids those things left unsaid. If it’s a human experience, we should be able to talk about it. You’re not alone.”
Metallica recently confirmed that in addition to a very happy new year 2022 for its foundation “All Within My Hands”, the group collected nearly 3 million dollars thanks to its annual concert given on December 16th.
All of this money is donated directly to the foundation, which supports communities in need in terms of education, the fight against hunger, and which comes to the aid during many vagaries of daily life.
