Food retailer SIA “Elvi Latvija” will open a sales block in Mārupe on Lielaja Street on February 25.

Almost three million euros have been invested in the creation of the commercial block. The block will be managed by the franchise partner of “Elvi” SIA “Vita Markets”.
In addition to the “Elvi” store, there will also be a liquor store “AlkOutlet”, a “Pepco” brand store and “Euroaptieka” in the territory. It is planned that in the summer season, various “pop-up” sales points of home producers, artisan goods and catering companies will also operate in the square of the commercial block.
Along with investments in shops, parking spaces for 96 cars have also been installed in the commercial block, a heat recovery system has been installed, which allows the use of heat generated by commercial equipment for the management of the premises.
The concept and project of the block was created by “Loft” architectural office.
Information from “Firmas.lv” shows that the “Elvi Latvija” concern worked with a turnover of 46.662 million euros in 2021, which is 2.7 times more than the year before, while the company suffered losses in the amount of 625,784 euros in contrast to the profit a year earlier.
In 2021, “Elvi Latvija” itself worked with a turnover of 4.25 million euros, which is 10.2% more than a year earlier, but the company’s losses were 672,304 euros in contrast to the profit a year earlier.
The company “Elvi Latvija” was registered in February 2010, and its share capital is 1.003 million euros. The company is owned by Imantas Rendenieks (50%), SIA “Fortis VM” (49.3%), the largest owner of which is Rendenieks, and SIA “Realto Capital” (0.07%).
On the other hand, the turnover of “Vita Markets” in 2021 was 104.813 million euros, which is 8.1% more than the year before, while the company’s profit increased by 48.4% and reached 4.891 million euros.
“Vita market” was registered in 1997, and its share capital is 2.141 million euros. “Vita márkets” is fully owned by SIA “Fortis VM”, where 88% of the capital shares belong to Rendeniekas, 9% – to Vita Rendeniekas, and 3% – to Igor Kozlovskis.
