Tonight, our guest on set is Franck Proust, the president of Nîmes Métropole. We will talk about the western bypass of Nîmes with our witness, Béatrice Leccia, the Europe Ecology manager Les Verts in the Gard with whom we will discuss this major project.
The western bypass of Nîmes, a project led by Nîmes Métropole, is a divisive subject. Proponents of the project believe that it is necessary to relieve the city and the region of traffic jams and to facilitate travel. Opponents, on the other hand, argue that this will have a negative impact on the environment.
In the second part, our witness will be Anne Portalès, the director of the company Hectare. This company specializes in the eco-design of real lplaces of life in order to offer a more responsible alternative to the urbanization of our cities and neighborhoods. Our members, Julien Devèze and Charly Crespe will discuss with our guests the relaunch of Nîmes airport. The question is whether this initiative will be good news for local tourism, or if it will have a negative impact on finances.
The different points of view of our guests will allow viewers to form an informed opinion on current issues in the Gard.
The program will also be punctuated by the mood of Olivier Jalaguier who will give us his personal analysis of local news.
Finally, the Club quiz orchestrated by Sacha Virga will allow viewers to test their knowledge of Gard news revisited by our columnist.
