Putin addresses thousands of people at the Luzhniki Stadium and celebrates the invasion of Ukraine

In a short speech at an event organized in honor of the Day of Defenders of the Fatherland, celebrated on February 23, Putin said that during the war, the defenders of the motherland are all Russian residents, including children, and expressed the opinion that Russian soldiers in Ukraine defend “the motherland and family”.

After Putin’s speech, a concert was performed by the Kremlin’s favorite singers, including Oleg Gazmanov, Grigory Leps and the group “Lyube”.

Last year, a similar event was held at the Luzhniki Stadium on March 18, where Putin praised the invasion of Ukraine.
