Disney has been characterized in recent years by expanding its universe of films around cultures around the world.
Although at first his productions were inspired by classic European tales, in the last decade Disney has been interested in Latin America, and thus he has created some of his most successful films in recent years.

1) Enchantment, a magical story set in Colombia

2) Coco is pure Mexican party
In Coco, from 2017, the young Miguel dreams of being a musician like Ernesto de la Cruz, his idol. However, music has been forever banned in his family, but that will not be an impediment for him to pursue his dream.
Miguel wants to take advantage of the Day of the Dead to show everyone his talent. However, he ends up in the colorful Land of the Dead. There he meets Hector. Together they face a joyous journey in which Miguel will discover more about his family’s past.
3) Rio transports everyone to the carioca carnival
Play samba because Rio, a 2011 movie, is already on Disney+! Directed by the Brazilian Carlos Saldanha, director of The Ice Age, this animation tells the story of Blua macaw that cannot fly.
But his world turns upside down when he is transferred to Rio de Janeiro to save his own species from extinction. In that situation, he meets Jewel the macaw. Together they embark on an adventure for Blu to learn to fly. and fulfill your destiny.
4) The Emperor’s Follies is an adventure through Central America
Released in 2000, the film The Emperor’s Madness shone with the story of Kuzco, who thought that in order to govern it was enough to have a people that idolized him, a fabulous wardrobe and that no one cut his “wave”.
However, the imposing Emperor is transformed into a llama due to a big mess. Now that his throne has been stolen by his ambitious adviser, Kuzco he will have to form an unlikely alliance with a simple peasant to rescue what is his by right.
5) The Book of Life brings the colors and lights of Mexico
In The Book of Life, from 2014, Manolo, María and Joaquín have been friends since childhood, but life holds different destinies for the three of them. While the girl goes to study abroad, Manolo must decide between following the family tradition or his heart. Joaquín, for his part, becomes the town’s hero.
When the three meet again, a tragedy occurs that leads Manolo to live incredible adventures between three kingdoms: the Living, the Forgotten and the Remembered. TOAt the end of this incredible journey, the three friends will learn a lot about love, friendship, courage and the true meaning of heroism.
