Reported by detikSumut, Inspector General of Police Rusdi Hartono has served as the Jamb Regional Police Chief since October 14, 2022. Inspector General Rusdi became Jambi Police Chief replacing Inspector General Rachmad Wibowo.
Prior to becoming Jambi Police Chief, Rusdi Hartono had served as West Sumatra Regional Police Chief (West Sumatra) replacing Inspector General Teddy Minahasa Putra. Shortly after being transferred to the West Sumatra Police, Inspector General Rusdi was transferred back to the Jambi Police.
According to the NTMC Polri Info website, Jambi Regional Police Chief Inspector General Pol Rusdi Hartono was born on April 27, 1969. Rusdi Hartono graduated from the Police Academy (Akpol) in 1991 and has experience in traffic. Rusdi is a classmate of the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo who also graduated from the Police Academy in 1991.

The Latest Condition of the Jambi Police Chief After Being Evacuated
After being successfully evacuated from the Kerinci forest, Jambi Regional Police Chief Rusdi Hartono and his aide were flown to Jakarta for further treatment at the Police Hospital. Now they have arrived at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta.
The delegation of the Jambi Regional Police arrived at around 16.15 WIB, Wednesday (22/2/2023). Arriving at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, the Jambi Police Chief and his aide were immediately taken to the Emergency Room (IGD).
“Enough, done. It just arrived, it just arrived at 16.15,” said Lakhar, Head of Sub-Division of the National Police Hospital, Kompol Zulfa, when asked for confirmation.
Previously, the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo mentioned the condition of the Jambi Police Chief and other victims. The Chief of Police confirmed that all the victims were conscious. However, there were indeed those who experienced injuries and broken bones, both on their feet, hands, ribs, and other body parts.
