Searches took place on Tuesday at the Hôtel de Région d’Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, in the Confluence district, in Lyon (2nd), as part of a preliminary investigation into the “dinner of summits”, organized in June 2022, by Laurent Wauquiez, LR president of the region.
This investigation was opened by the National Financial Prosecutor’s Office (PNF), on December 2, for “favouritism, concealment of favoritism and embezzlement of public funds”, and entrusted to the zonal direction of the judicial police. The PNF confirmed to the Progress this Tuesday, that it targets “the conditions for organizing the ”summit dinner””.
