LIVE Techno – The word ‘doomsday’ is being widely discussed by the public. After the Doomsday Hour or The Doomsday Clock some time ago, now appears the term smart phone or smartphone doomsday. This was revealed by the Chief Executive of Nokia Pekka Lundmark.
As is known, having a smartphone is now like an obligation. This tiny device that can be held in the palm of one hand has functions that are so attached to many people’s daily lives, such as communicating, seeking entertainment, and working.
So, it’s only natural that smartphones are incarnated as a primary need for many people. This is because some people use smart phones to seek income and profit. Nevertheless, Pekka Lundmark has a different opinion.
According to him, the current form of smart phones will become extinct by 2030. People’s dependence or need for smartphones will experience a drastic decline in the next seven years or when the 6G network is publicly commercialized.
The Nokia boss is so sure that the presence of the 6G network will make some people choose to use wearable devices, not smartphones.
Wearable here is a kind of smart watch (smart watch), smart glasses (smart glasses), smart bracelet (smartband), and other smart devices, which can eliminate the role of a smart phone.
