A 3-year-old girl was transported in serious condition to the Nancy University Hospital this Tuesday, February 21 at the end of the afternoon.
The accident occurred around 5 p.m., on a farm located in the town of Sillegny, 15 km south of Metz.
A girl and her mother, a 32-year-old woman, were below bales of hay that fell on them, according to initial findings.
Slightly injured, the child’s mother was taken to Mercy Hospital. His daughter, who would suffer, according to the first elements, from a head trauma was transported, in serious condition, to the University Hospital of Nancy.
The gendarmes spoke of a “domestic accident”.
