The exhibition of the “world of dinosaurs” is the idea of former circus artists, forced to reinvent themselves. The troupe rode the wave of children’s sympathy for dinosaurs and created a large traveling interactive exhibit.

Roger Falck comes from a family of showmen. His story with the dinosaurs was first born in a show in Spain with a single specimen. Faced with the enthusiasm of the public and especially children, the troupe decided to take advantage of the vein and develop interactivity between the spectator and the extinct animal. Thus was born the exhibition “Dinosaurs world”, an exhibition-show with animations and pedagogy 3 years ago.
The exhibition has been imagined in several spaces. A thirty life-size robotic dinosaurs in an immersive sound environment, an archaeological excavation workshop, an 8D simulator with dynamic seats takes you to “The Land of Dinosaurs”, a play area and an interactive show.
This is where Johnny Pilch comes in. He is also part of a circus family. His father and his grandfather were clowns in the great circuses of Europe. He himself, a musician clown, played the trumpet, but confinement changed everything and he had to reinvent himself.
In addition to having designed the educational elements of the exhibition, he very regularly wears his Blue costume, the velociraptor. He then joins Brigitte, the triceratops, on the track and goes to meet the children for a papouille session. Children are encouraged to pet them. “The dinosaurs, they are all soft. At first I was scared, but that’s fine“explains Liam, 4, who dared to reach out to caress Brigitte’s muzzle.
“Before, they existed, now they don’t. There, it’s a pterodactyl” Aron, 4 years old, who recognizes each animal, but is not fooled. “Me, I prefer the velociraptor, because it runs very fast“says Jules, 5 years old.
Elan, 6, was impressed by the tyrannosaur’s gaping maw. “He is scary because of his teeth and his cry”. Info validated by a grandmother who came with her granddaughter. “It’s interesting, the children are happy, but it’s a bit too noisy for toddlers“, she confides to us.
After having criss-crossed the Iberian Peninsula and Germany, the exhibition is stopping off in the major cities of France. She is at the Bron Parilly racecourse until March 5th.
