In football, it is often said that the best referee is one you don’t notice. But what about houses?
Two well-camouflaged houses in scenic Bolzano in Italy are rented out via airbnb.
Once there, you notice the surrounding Dolomites mountain range, several apple trees, a terrace and a swimming pool. But the houses themselves, which are next to each other, are more difficult to notice.
Namely, the back of the house is completely constructed in mirror glass that reflects the surroundings, which means that you hardly perceive that there is actually a building there.
From the front, you can see straight into the houses through the glass doors.
Described as “a unique opportunity”
The rental ad describes the villas as “a unique opportunity to spend a wonderful holiday surrounded by modern architecture of the highest class in harmony with an evocative natural landscape”.
This is also reflected in the price. Enthusiastic speculators have to shell out 2,500 kroner per night to live in the camouflaged houses.
Hopefully the experience reflects their expectations for the stay.
