Poco X5 5G.
Jakarta: Yesterday, Poco Indonesia officially released their newest mid-range cellphone from the Poco X Series, the Poco X5 5G. Unfortunately, this cellphone was released alone, not with its brother, the Poco X5 Pro, as it was during the global introduction.
The interesting thing when the launch took place, Andi Renreng, Head of Marketing at Poco Indonesia, presented a competitor that was used as a comparison material for the Poco X5 5G.
Here the competitor is simply written as “XXX A33 5G”, but if we actually trace it, we can easily find out that the competitor is the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G which was also released in Indonesia.
At the presentation Andi gave a comparison table of specifications between the Poco X5 5G versus the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G. Here it can be seen that both of them rely on different chipsets but are both in the middle class cellphone segment.
The Poco X5 5G relies on Snapdragon 695 from Qualcomm while the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G is armed with Exynos 1280. On the screen, the Poco X5 5G offers a more spacious size, namely 6.67 inches AMOLED panel, its competitors are only stuck at 6.4 inches.
Not only that, the Poco X5 5G instills a 120Hz refresh rate capability on its screen, this specification has become the standard for high-class cellphones with prices above IDR 8 million.

The Samsung Galaxy A33 5G itself only wants to provide a refresh rate of 90Hz which has become the standard for middle-class cellphones, even now there are mid-low class cellphones that dare to offer comparable capabilities.
Regarding the camera, the Poco X5 5G only has three rear cameras, while the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G has four cameras. Even so, both of them have the same main capabilities at 48MP.
The Poco X5 5G is again superior in terms of battery, both have a capacity of 5,000 mAh with the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G but have a larger fast charging power. The effect is that large charging power will make the charging process faster.
The fast charging power of the Poco X5 5G battery is at 33W while its competitors are only at 25W. So don’t ask which brand can charge the battery faster.

When switching to the choice of model RAM capacity and internal memory, these two brands both provide the same choices, namely 6/128GB and 8/256GB. The Poco X5 5G itself is still superior because there is a RAM expansion feature of 5GB so that it can become 13GB.
Finally, the duel between the two is nothing but seen from the price offered. The Poco X5 5G costs IDR 3,499,000 for the 6/128GB model and IDR 3,999,000 for the 8/256GB version.
The price of its competitor, the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G, is still more expensive, the 6/128GB model costs IDR 4,799,000 while the 8/256GB costs IDR 5,299,000.
