Argentina, 1985, will seek to become the third Argentine film to win an Oscar, an achievement achieved only by La historia oficial, by Luis Puenzo, in 1986, and El secreto de sus ojos, by Juan José Campanella, in 2010.
The award ceremony will be on March 12 at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.
