Madonna shares a post-surgery photo and responds to trolls who mocked her appearance

Pop star Madonna will not be one to stay silent when others criticize her. In addition, you earn money not because of your creative actions, but because of your appearance. In her latest post, the singer responded to the trolls who vandalized her face at the Grammy Awards.

Madonna took the stage at the Grammys to present an award to Sam Smith and Kim Petras for their hit song ‘Unholy’. But despite Madonna’s meaningful speech and the colorful performance of the duo, the audience’s attention was much more attracted by the changes in the face of the queen of pop music. After the ceremony, countless discussions appeared on social networks about what cosmetic and surgical procedures the singer might have done, which made her look so foreign. The increased attention to Madonna’s face also sparked debate about the pressures women face to meet society’s beauty standards, with many of the pop star’s famous friends and fans coming to Madonna’s defense.

Rumors about the cosmetic procedures performed, however, turned out to be true. In her latest post on her Twitter blog, the singer responds to critics: “Look how beautiful I am now that the swelling has subsided after the surgery.” The diva added her latest portrait photo.

“You are and always will be beautiful,” wrote one fan in a comment on the singer’s post. “We love you despite other people’s negative opinions,” commented another.

“All I see is a strong woman who minds her own business and makes sure it thrives,” wrote a third, while a fourth added: “Keep pushing the boundaries, keep fighting the good fights, and do what makes you happy.”

While many praised Madonna’s bravery, there was no shortage of those who continued to criticize the singer’s penchant for plastic surgery. A defender of the singer said: “I don’t understand why people in this comment stream feel the need to tell you what you can and can’t do with your body. We should all try to do what makes us happy without worrying about what other people think.”

Let’s recall that in response to the haters’ remarks immediately after the Grammy Awards night, Madonna said the following words: “Instead of focusing on what I said in my speech, which was about being grateful for the fearlessness of artists like this, a lot of people decided to talk only about mine for close-up photos taken by a press photographer with a telephoto lens that will distort any face. And once again I find myself in the glare of ageism and misogyny that permeates the world we live in. In a world that refuses to honor women who are over 45 and feels the need to punish her if she continues to be strong-willed, hard-working and adventurous,” lamented the singer.

The artist also emphasized that she is not going to apologize to anyone for her transformation. “I’ve never apologized for the creative decisions I’ve made or the way I look or dress. And I’m not about to start. The media has tried to disparage me since the beginning of my career, but I understand that this is all a test. I am happy to act in such a way that it will be easier for all women after me in the years to come. In the words of Beyonce, you won’t break my soul! I’m enjoying my life!” Madonna concluded her response to the “haters”.
