Passionate about distribution, she combines energy, professionalism and an innate sense of optimism.
We rewind our journey…
Born in France, she lived in her youth in the United States with her expatriate parents. “It has shaped my personality a lot and brought me a positivism and an energy acquired from a very young age”, emphasizes Céline Jaquemet. Coming from a family of “globetrotters” open to others, she also likes to evolve in international environments. It was after a degree in economics and management that she completed her studies with a DESS in Distribution at Dauphine. “I was passionate about this environment. Distribution is a universe full of novelties and innovations that has always interested me,” she explains. Internships at L’Oréal and Pernod Ricard follow one another and she begins at Catalina, an American company in data marketing and technologies… Almost two years, formative, which lead in 2005 to a first challenge. Alumni of Catalina France offered him to join the adventure of launching Adamence, an e-commerce site for jewelery that was a pioneer in the online sale of diamonds! She seized this opportunity and took the digital turn at a time when pioneers were inventing models. She developed Adamence for 7 years, an “enriching because entrepreneurial adventure during which I was able to work on a wide variety of subjects”. With this thirst for discovery, Céline Jaquemet then joined the Repetto teams as Digital, CRM and e-commerce director. The acceleration of the company’s digital activity, its transformation, the development of the customer experience and international will be his daily life for 4 years. And as one challenge calls for another, it was then within L’Occitane en Provence that she officiated as digital and e-crm Europe director with responsibility for 8 countries before joining Place des Tendances, an entity of the Printemps Group. as Marketing and Sales Director and then as General Manager of Place des Tendances. “Coming after the founders is always complicated, but the teams at Place des Tendances have signed up to a new common project”. Settled for a year in the South of France, Céline Jaquemet has also put her professional bags there by writing a new chapter in her career. “A very nice meeting with Anne Vouland, the founder of Lulli, convinced me to join the company, explains Céline Jaquemet who has just taken over the general management of Lulli. A fashion and lifestyle concept store, Lulli has a dozen stores and an e-commerce site “Lulli on the web”. The brand has just opened 3 new concept stores in 2022 in Saint Tropez, Marseille and Serre Chevalier.
What accomplishments is she most proud of?
A source of pride, this rich and varied career in “companies of different universes and sizes” (startups, large groups, family structures). Within Lulli, more recently, Céline Jaquemet led a very ambitious “replatforming” project. “This project is key to supporting Lulli’s growth with omnichannel projects, a new WMS (Warehouse Management System, NLDR), OMS (Order Management Service) will be launched in April and May and a new e-front trade in launch for mid-April. Another source of pride, the encounters made throughout this career and the feeling of having transmitted in particular to its teams which have grown and have also become real referents today in the digital world…
Her vision of female qualities and leadership?
“Ambition and high standards are qualities that I value highly, mixed with benevolence and humanity”, explains Céline Jaquemet. “As a woman, the demand vis-à-vis oneself seems stronger to me,” she adds. Passion, commitment, ability to transmit and mobilize teams, the Jaquemet method has not finished proving its worth…
