“The 921 employees of the 87 petrol stations that TotalEnergies owns are paid below the legal scale,” says Kevin Kiggen of trade union ACV Puls. “Despite discussions with the management, concrete agreements were repeatedly postponed. Now the time is up and action will follow,” said the trade unionist. It threatens to close all 87 highway and city stations, mostly next to connecting roads, next week if the management does not respond. “Then it will no longer be possible to refuel”, says Kiggen. That is still the case today in Waarloos.
