Stella popped the question to Sergej Ivanov as the two neighbors walked down a street in Bakhmut last week. The 64-year-old did not have time to respond before artillery exploded just five meters away from him. He fell to the ground. Felt the blood flow from the shrapnel that hit him in the back.
