Mortal Kombat 11 has finally found the easter egg that developers have been teasing for years

Easter eggs are always fun to find in games, and sometimes the developers themselves give the community tips on where and how to find them. One particular easter egg in the popular fighting game Mortal Kombat 11 has eluded the community for years since its original announcement by NetherRealm Studios senior designer Aaron Davis. Recently, however, YouTuber Vaz and his community finally found an Easter egg.

The easter egg in question is related to Erron Black and can only be made in a real match. After winning the round, Erron Black tosses a coin before putting it in his pocket, but as it turns out, you can hold the Up button and this will change the animation to Black tossing a coin to his opponent. This hidden win animation also appears to have a voiceover line where Black taunts with “keep the change”, though Vaz states that he doesn’t know how to trigger it in game.
