A public lottery will be conducted through the unified Egyptian portal for Hajj – for all applicants – in the security directorates, according to the timetable that will be announced by the General Administration of Administrative Affairs.
Applications are submitted by the citizen personally to any police station or station without being restricted to the place of residence, or through the website of the General Administration of Administrative Affairs on the portal of the Ministry of Interior via the international information network (the Internet) according to the valid national number card data, and in the event of its expiration, the application will not be accepted. – And that is during the dates set for accepting Hajj applications at the level of the Republic, and a lottery will be made from the quota allocated to the governorate to which the place of residence of the “applicant” mentioned in his national ID card belongs.
The Hajj request shall include a detailed statement of the health status and the type of disease, if any. The performance of the Hajj this year is limited to those who have not previously performed the Hajj throughout their lives, with the necessity of submitting a certificate of movements from the General Administration of Passports, Immigration and Nationality.
It is required for those who apply for Hajj to have full legal capacity to perform the rituals, and of Egyptian nationality, and the age of men among them is not less than (25 years), and an exception is made from the requirement of the legal age of a woman less than (45 years), as his age is not less than (18 years), and it is approved In determining the age of the applicant for Hajj, the date is 4/30/2023.
As for women under 45 years of age, it is required to have a legal mahram for them whose age is not less than (18 years) on the date 30/4/2023, and for the marital pilgrimage request, the applicant must be accompanied (from the age of 25 years) and from relatives up to the fourth degree, and it is required Submission of a kinship document “in the event of winning the lottery.” In the event that it is not possible to prove the validity of the kinship relationship between the applicant and the non-obligatory companion, the Hajj opportunity for the non-obligatory companion only is canceled without any responsibility on the Ministry of the Interior, and the Hajj opportunity for the applicant is preserved, and in the event The inability to prove the validity of the kinship relationship between the applicant of people of determination and his obligatory companion, the successful applicant is required to nominate an alternative companion under the same conditions, and in the event that he is unable to do so, the entire Hajj request is canceled without any responsibility on the Ministry of Interior.
The costs of the paper pilgrimage request are paid at the centers and departments. As for the electronic request or voice calls, the financial value specified for the pilgrimage request is deducted through multiple automated payment methods (credit card – contracted electronic collection agencies). The request is not considered acceptable until after payment of its financial value.
The Hajj opportunity may not be assigned or bequeathed to others, regardless of the degree of kinship, and children may only be assigned to one of the parents (and not vice versa), provided that the assignee (one of the parents) enjoys a good health condition and is free of diseases approved by the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population, and that he has not previously Performing Hajj throughout his life and those who are subject to the instructions and rules governing the Hajj by lot, provided that the required documents (birth certificate – waiver request – payment receipt – copy of the national ID card – … etc.) are sent to the General Administration of Administrative Affairs to examine it and take the necessary action towards including the application on The Egyptian Unified Portal for Hajj, as well as requests for waiver of one of the parents or the replacement of facilities for the elderly after the end of the time period specified for paying the costs, and it is not permissible to waive the waiver for these cases, otherwise the opportunity for Hajj will be canceled without any responsibility on the Ministry of the Interior. The winners of the Hajj opportunity, regardless of the degree of kinship, have the right to request that they be accommodated or housed together as long as each of them submits a separate Hajj request without the slightest responsibility on the Ministry of Education. for underwear.
