Turkish psychologist back in Groningen: ‘I don’t know if I’m ready to help there as a professional’

Yanbolluoglu gets emotional when she talks about the Turkish aid, or rather the lack of it, as she says herself. ‘From AFAD (the disaster and emergency relief management of the Turkish government, ed.) No one came to help at all. I called them for days and asked for help, but nothing happened. In the end you saw a lot rescueteams from the Netherlands, Israel, Japan and Hungary, but I have not seen anyone from AFAD.’
