After a winter break of more than 2 months, it’s time for the resumption of the French Pro Elite Championship… On February 25 and 26, it’s at the Pôle Hippique du Grand Est in Rosières-aux-Salines (54) that the 8 stables that make up the premier category of French horseball will meet for a decisive stage.

Against the backdrop of a quest for medals, two teams stand in a pocket handkerchief at the top of the provisional classification: Lille HLB and Chambly. While the Lille are alone in the lead with 11 points, they are closely followed by the collective of Chambly which counts 10 points.
During the Rosières stage, the two leaders will not face each other directly but will have decisive confrontations. The riders of Lille HLB will have to face the locals of Nancy (4th) as well as the formation of Bordeaux (8th in the general classification and recent qualified for the 1/2 finals of the Coupe de France against Chambly). For the Picards, the program will also be difficult to negotiate against Ouest Lyon (5th) and Angers (3rd).

With 2 to 4 points behind the leaders, come the teams from Angers (3rd), Nancy (4th), Ouest Lyon (5th) and Loire sur Rhône (6th). For these other contenders for the title and the podium, the Rosières stage could be an opportunity to come and glean places in the provisional classification, in particular for the Angevins who will have to fight against Loire sur Rhône (6th) and Chambly (2nd)… or again for the Nancy players who will be keen to win in front of their home crowd against Lille HLB (1st) and Ouest Lyon (5th). It will also be necessary to be attentive to the performance of the Rhône-Alpes teams (West Lyon and Loire sur Rhône) which could upset the “fragile hierarchy” established.

At the bottom of the standings, two teams are in the relegation zone: Paris Mash (7th) and Bordeaux (8th)… On the Rosières field, the 2 teams will have to do battle! It will then be necessary for Bordeaux to face the leaders of Lille HLB while the Parisians will be opposed to Loire sur Rhône.

The Rosières-aux-Salines stage promises to be exciting, with uncertain opposition which will be decisive in the evolution of the provisional classification. Meet on February 25 and 26, in the facilities of the Pôle Hippique du Grand Est (54), to vibrate to the rhythm of the prowess of the best teams, players and horses in the discipline!
