Alberto Menjón makes his debut at Carnegie Hall in New York | Concerts (Music) | Our culture

The Aragonese Alberto Menjon I act together with the violinist Eun Young Lee in it Carnegie Hall from New York. At the age of 29, the pianist from Zaragoza made his debut in the city that saw him carry out part of his higher education: “You don’t know when the moment is going to come and you have to always be prepared,” Menjón explains on the program The Cadiera of Aragon Radio.

The musician participated in a recital that included various works for violin and piano: “It was a fairly complete program,” says the pianist from Zaragoza after interpreting pieces by composers such as Mozart.

The performance came about with little preparation time: “Then I found out that the violinist was also notified quite late. They offered it to this girl and they called me,” says Menjón, who confirms that the performance prepared since January.

The Aragonese pianist, who took part of his studies at the Manhattan School of Musichighlighted the exquisite acoustics of Carnegie Hall: “When we rehearsed for the first time, I realized that it is a very special room”, acknowledges the young musician from Zaragoza on the New York stage.
