One UI 5.1 is headed to older flagship phones

Earlier this week, Samsung started updating last year’s flagship phones to One UI 5.1. Unfortunately, it was not without problems, and some users complain about fast battery drain and jerky animations. Nevertheless, the South Korean company is now launching an update to another older flagship series, namely Galaxy Note20.

It originally had One UI 5.1 head for the last ones “nots” until a week later, but owners are shown the possibility of updating already from Friday evening. At the moment, she has been spotted in Argentina and Germany, so it’s only a matter of hours before she appears in the Czech Republic as well. If you don’t want to wait, you can of course download and install it manually.

On the other hand, there is probably no rush. As mentioned in the introduction, several Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21 owners are experiencing battery issues, respectively fast discharge and it is not yet clear whether this problem also applies to the Galaxy Note20 series.

Have you updated to One UI 5.1 yet?
