PARIS – Brazilian soccer player Neymar does not have a broken ankle. Attacker of Paris St. Germain is still waiting for further examinations at the beginning of next week, which will determine whether there has been damage to the ligaments.
Neymar was injured in Sunday’s French Ligue 1 match against Lille (4:3) and in the 51st minute he was taken off the field on a stretcher. “Neymar underwent a magnetic resonance examination, which did not confirm an ankle fracture. He will undergo further examinations in the next 48 hours,” it is stated in the statement of the club, which was mediated by the AFP agency.
