Faced with the risk of clashes between supporters of OL and Grenoble, the Rhône prefecture has decided to supervise the arrival of Grenoble residents. The 1,200 supporters will come to Parc OL under police escort on February 28.
Between some supporters of theOL and GF38, there is a certain more or less recent antagonism. The Rhône Prefecture is aware of this and did not wait until the last moment to take action. A little over two weeks before the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France, a prefectural decree has been published concerning the arrival of supporters authorized to go to the visitor parking lot at Parc OL on February 28 (9:10 p.m.).
Any supporter of the Isère club will be prohibited from going to the city center of Lyon on the day of the match and will have to come and follow the collective trip organized by the club or by one of the associations of supporters of the GF38 recognized. This journey will take place under police escort upon arrival at the Isle d’Abeau motorway rest area and this as far as Décines. In total, 1,200 tickets have been put up for sale in Grenoble to follow this French Cup match from the visitor parking lot at the Décines enclosure.
