Cajeme.- After the stage collapsed in the Yaquis Stadiumprior to the start of 10 continuous hours of various concerts, the State Civil Protection Coordination (CEPC) suspended the event called “Pure Chuqui”.
In the event scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m. this Saturday, February 18, musical groups such as Sin Bandera, Los Tucanes de Tijuana, Alta Consigna, His Majesty La Brisa, Nunca Jamás and Los Madafakers were scheduled.
In the incident on the scene, no injured people were reported, however, Civil Protection reported that it canceled the event because it had its special program established by the Sonora State Civil Protection Law.
In addition, it does not offer guarantees to safeguard the integrity of its attendees after the collapse of its stage.
“The Inspection and Surveillance Directorate of Sonora Civil Protection determines the suspension of the ‘Puro Chuqui’ event as a security measure, which was scheduled to take place at the Yaquis stadium in Ciudad Obregón.”
