A Syrian military source reported that 5 people were killed and 15 others were wounded in the initial outcome of the Israeli aggression, which targeted points in and around Damascus, including residential neighborhoods.
The Syrian News Agency quoted the source as saying, in a statement: “At exactly 22:00 in the morning today, the Israeli enemy carried out an air attack with bursts of missiles from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting some points in the city of Damascus and its surroundings, including residential neighborhoods inhabited by civilians.”
And he continued, “Our air defenses intercepted the aggression’s missiles and shot down most of them. The aggression led, as a preliminary outcome, to the death of five martyrs, including a soldier, and the wounding of 15 civilians, including critical cases, and the destruction of a number of civilian houses, and material damage to a number of neighborhoods in Damascus and its surroundings.”
