The annual award for Latvian music recordings “Zelta mikrofons” has been organized by producer Elita Mīlgrāve and the Latvian Music Producers Association (LaMPA) for the 27th year. This year, the author of the stage concept was artist, designer Artūrs Analts. The TV direction was entrusted to the Ukrainian director Marina Šaleva.
This year, Shipsea received the Album of the Year award for the album “Enlighten me”, while Don’s single “Your touch” was declared the Song of the Year, which also received an award in the Radio Hits category.
Two golden microphones were also awarded to the new artist Vultura, who received awards in the categories Electronic or Dance Music Album and Debut Album.
Meanwhile, Latvian radio sound engineer Augustīns Delle received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
