Severstal beat Spartak and advanced to the KHL playoffs
The Cherepovets club won with a score of 3: 1 and seventh in the Western Conference secured a ticket to the playoffs

Hockey players of Moscow “Spartak” lost to Cherepovets “Severstal” with a score of 1:3 in the home match of the regular season “Fonbet” – KHL.
Severstal, thanks to this victory, secured a ticket to the playoffs.
Among the winners, goals were scored by Makar Khabarov (30th minute), Andrey Churkin (38) and Igor Geraskin (47). The losers scored Phil Varone (22).
SKA won the KHL regular season for the third time in history
Severstal is seventh in the Western Conference standings with 69 points in 64 games. Spartak is in ninth place with 62 points in 65 matches. The Moscow club continues to fight for the last ticket to the playoffs from the West, on the eighth line is Dynamo Minsk (65 points, 65 games).
In the next match, Spartak will host Metallurg Magnitogorsk on February 20, while Severstal will play Vityaz near Moscow on the same day.
The bookmaker’s office “Fonbet” accepts bets on the victory of “Spartak” in regular time in the upcoming match with a coefficient of 2.75, “Metallurg” – 2.25, on a draw – 4.00.
