Today, the website of Grupa Azoty’s official distributor, Agrochem Puławy, has published an updated price list of nitrogen fertilizers for the second time in February. It is difficult to look for significant modifications in it.
The change is really just one fertilizer, albeit a very important one; this concerns the Pulrea + INu fertilizer (46N with urease inhibitor), the price of which increased by PLN 100 per ton from PLN 2,740/t to PLN 2,840/t. The rest of the price list remains unchanged.
The prices of compound fertilizers remain high; the price list of Agrochem Puławy in their case remains unchanged from December 21 last year:
Prices of nitrogen fertilizers dropped significantly on February 1 this year. At that time, Grupa Azoty announced that it had been able to reduce them thanks to the January drop in the price of gas, which is the main cost driver in the production of nitrogen fertilizers.
– Thanks to the January stabilization of natural gas prices on the European market, despite a significant y/y increase in the prices of other raw materials used in the production of fertilizers, including the prices of electricity, coal, phosphate rock and potassium salt, Grupa Azoty has been reducing the prices of fertilizers since February 1st 2023 – we were able to read in the Group’s press release.
