Red Bull F1 representative “New Way is retreating from the front line, but the technical department is the strongest”[F1-Gate.com]

Red Bull Racing’s F1 team principal Christian Horner says Red Bull’s technical department is the ‘strongest’ in the team’s F1 history, despite Adrian Newey’s resignation. Since joining from McLaren in 2006, Adrian Newey has overseen Red Bull’s development as chief technical officer, winning six drivers’ titles and five constructors’ titles.

But 64-year-old Adrian Newey has been spending more time on projects outside of F1, including sailing’s America’s Cup with four-time Olympic gold medalist Sir Ben Ainsley.
