We are not attracted to owning rental apartments. But we could build them for others, says Lukáš Musil, who manages the real estate activities of the RSJ financial group.
UFor almost a year, apartment sellers have been facing an outflow of buyers. After years of feverishly searching for unsold real estate, Czechs started to wait to buy their own home last year due to expensive and unaffordable mortgages. And while older apartments reacted to this by lowering prices, developers are still resisting overvaluation of new buildings. However, according to Lukáš Musil, manager of the RSJ investment group, who is in charge of the real estate portfolio, it is possible to get a discount even for new apartments. “Maybe it will be hidden, but it will be there,” says Musil in an interview for HN.
