Everyone turns to Kira!
– I went into shock. I was about to throw up when I left the stage, says the protagonist himself.
In prime time on TV 2 on Friday evening, Kira Dalan-Eriksen performed the Rihanna song “Love On The Brain” during the music program “The Voice”.
Adrenaline rush
Just 20 seconds after Kira’s first stanza, both Yosef Wolde-Mariam and Ina Wroldsen had turned in their red chairs.
A few seconds later, the chairs of Jarle Bernhoft and Espen Lind were also facing the stage.
– Even though I had been extremely nervous just before, I managed to keep my composure when everyone turned around. It was quite an adrenaline rush.

– It was dead fat, said Espen Lind when Kira had finished singing.
And Jarle Bernhoft followed.
– Now there will be both heel shelter and preaching. This was very, very tough. I got a kick out of it. Do you know who plays the guitar on that song, asked Jarle Bernhoft.
Since no one answered, he answered himself.

– This song is extremely difficult to get just right. But you nailed it. It was great, said Ina Wroldsen.

– I had hoped that someone would turn around, but I never expected that everyone would, said a moved Kira.
– Had you decided in advance who you were going to choose?
– I thought about it when I was sitting backstage, and I had decided on either Espen or Jarle. When I stood there, I chose Espen.
Hvaler woman Susanne Klerud was also on “The Voice” tonight. She didn’t go any further.
But Ronja Bosy from Fredrikstad secured a place in the duel earlier this winter. It is not yet known when Ronja and Kira will have their duels – the duels are also recorded in advance.
PS! When the blind audition programs are finished, the mentors Ina Wroldsen, Jarle Bernhoft, Yosef Wolde-Mariam and Espen Lind will pit the talents they have chosen against each other in pair duels – and can only choose one of them to take with them.
