TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Linda Pujiastuti alias Anita Cepu had wanted to destroy methamphetamine which was allegedly entrusted to her by the former West Sumatra Regional Police Chief Inspector General Teddy Minahasa Son. This desire arose when there was a request to withdraw another 4 kilograms of methamphetamine deposited.
“I told Syamsul Arif (Syamsul Ma’arif) just destroy it, I’m not a seller of this. Just destroy it, why return it,” Linda told the Panel of Judges at the West Jakarta District Court at the trial of defendant Teddy on Friday, 17 February 2023.
He admitted that he was angry with Arif when he wanted to return the methamphetamine to Teddy through the former Bukittinggi Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Police Dody Prawiranegara. Linda said she didn’t really want to sell drugs.
Linda Pujiastuti alias Anita Cepu also stated that this illegal business is not like the coal mining business which must continue to coordinate.
“Syamsul Arif continued, ‘Don’t miss, this is not our stuff, I have to return it’. I almost put it in a blender to destroy it. I pulled four of them,” said Linda.
The withdrawal of the four kilograms was carried out after one kilogram of methamphetamine was sold with a value of IDR 500 million to Alex Albert alias Alex Bonpis. The drug was sold by former Kalibaru Police Chief Commissioner Kasranto through Adjunct Police Inspector One Janto Parluhutan Situmorang.
Janto transacted in cash at a shack in Kampung Bahari, North Jakarta. Janto admitted that he had known the drug dealer for two years.
“But they don’t know each other well,” said Janto to the judge.
From the sales of the methamphetamine network of Teddy Minahasa, Linda was charged with receiving a total of Rp. 60 million, Syamsul Ma’arif alias Arif received Rp. 50 million, Aiptu Janto received Rp. 20 million, and Kapolsek Kasranto received Rp. 70 million. This amount was obtained from the sale of one kilogram of methamphetamine.
