The subject is a repeat offender: in one week he went twice to the same Luis Vuitton store at 20 Hudson Yardsand he went out “like Juan around his house” with expensive clothes, and without paying.

He takes a $4,550 Luis Vuitton jacket
“The guy put on his jacket,” police say, “and then left the store without paying fleeing on foot, towards an unknown place”.
The value of the jacket is approximately $4,550.
The following week, on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at approximately 10:35 a.m., the unidentified male entered the Louis Vuitton store located at 20 Hudson Yard and again took unpaid merchandise.
This time, says NYPD, it was a Louis Vuitton bag, which he took from the hanger in the showroom. He “put the merchandise under his jacket to hide it and left the store, fleeing south on 10th Avenue on foot.”
The bag in question costs $2,590
